It's time for another one of our blogger round-ups!
The Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, and with all the other Christmas preparations you may suddenly realise that you haven't got anything to occupy the little one's time now that they are off school! But don't worry, we've rounded up three blogs that offer fun ways to fill the days (and get a bit of last minute shopping in!)
First up is gym bunny mummy's family trip to Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre. With interactive play areas, demonstrations of how the famous toy is made, and impressive models this is a fun day out for all the family, with gym bunny mummy admitting that even her teenager showed an interest in the attractions! With all of the interactive elements, indoor rides, and a soft play area we think this is the perfect way to get the little ones out for the day in a nice warm environment!
Our next blogger, My Family Ties, enjoyed a day out at Ripley's Believe It or Not London Odditorium. Filled with bizarre artifacts and interactive fun, Caroline from My Family Ties tells us to prepare ourselves for the unexpected as you become immersed in the wacky and wonderful world of Ripley - some of the articles exhibited were brought back from the famous explorers travels! If you are based in London definitely consider a family day out at this fun location!
With the kids in tow Christmas shopping may not seem all that appealing, especially in the December crowds! But when the schools break up you can go mid-week and avoid the peak weekends, so why not follow Vera from Lady and the Blogs advice and take the kids out shopping for Dad's present? Vera talks you through the best shops to visit and offers some great present ideas suitable for all budgets - and kindly concedes a treat for Mum too!
There are loads of great events on over the Christmas break to make the holidays extra special, so keep an eye out for local events happening near you!
Have a very Merry Christmas! Love, Yellow Mellon
