Yep, it’s time for another blogger round-up!

The weather this week has been nothing short of… well, pretty terrible. First we were getting blown away, and then nearly washed away. Hopefully the October sun can make an appearance next week for half term! (Anybody jetting away on holiday?)

When the bad weather comes it’s always handy to have the blogging community on hand for inspiration and tips on what to do with the little ones.

With Halloween only a week away, there’s loads of ideas on the web at the moment for getting the kids involved with spooky treats and crafts. Michelle from the Purple Pumpkin Blog is now on her third year of her annual Halloween craft series! Every day she posts a fab new idea for you to try at home. Our favourites so far this series have been her recipe for spicy pumpkin and butterbean soup (so homely and heart-warming) and how to make these adorable wool ghosts.

Meanwhile over on Yummy Blogger, Heledd has a great new post rounding up the best mobile apps for new mums! From an app to track feeds and medical info to a great little photo sharing app, this post should give you some great new ideas to have a play around with.
