Hello everybody! Thank you for joining me again here on the Yellow Mellon blog.

In my last post I talked about motherhood and shared with you some of my favourite parenting posts that I've written over the past few years, but today I want to concentrate on fashion! Childrenswear to be precise.

As a mum to a toddler (my little girl Elsie will soon turn 2!) it's safe to say that I ADORE shopping for her, always looking out for stylish garments which look fantastic but yet won't break the bank.

And I have to say this is what Yellow Mellon does brilliantly, designing and manufacturing gorgeous garments and selling them for a fraction of the price of what you'd find on the high street.

To prove my point, here are my favourite fashion picks from the site, for girls. These are the kind of fashion pieces I would very happily put Elsie in. I warn you though, once you see them, you may have no choice but to go wild with your credit card ;-)

1. Jumpsuit - Pretty, comfy and just totally gorgeous, what's not to love about this jumpsuit?! I just wish they did them in adult sizes!

2. Ra Ra skirt - I love Ra Ra skirts on little girls and this one is beautiful. It will look as fabulous paired with chunky tights in winter as it will with bare legs in the summer.

3. Daisy dress - You can't go wrong with daisies and the colours in this dress are just perfect for those glorious sunny days we so long for.

4. Smock Dress - This lovely dress reminds me of the kind of dress I wore as a little girl back in the early 80s and is the kind of dress I love to put my daughter in. The woodland print is both adorable and classic and the little roses just make this dress utter perfection. (I can't believe it's just £13.49 either!)

5. Skirt / top combo - Who doesn't love a giraffe or monochrome?! A lovely Parisian inspired outfit for all gorgeous little girls.
